Tasting - Anna De Blanc De Noirs Pinot Noir Brut

Name - Anna De Blanc De Noirs Pinot Noir Brut
Variety - 70 % Pinot Noir, 30 % Chardonnay
Region - Catalunya
Country - Spain
Year - NV
Price - $30
Winery Review - "Anna de Codorniu Rose is a pure, lively sparkling wine. Celebrating the life of the heiress to Spain's original winemaking dynasty, Codorniu, it is produced authentically 'Methode Traditionelle,' using only our finest, estate-grown fruit. Well balanced and refreshing, featuring aromas of recently picked summer berry fruits followed by strawberry and cherry flavors."
My Review - With 1 % residual sugar, this sparkling wine maintains a well-balanced light, airy feel. Not overbearing with fruit flavors, this brut sparkling wine tastes of tart grapefruit and strawberry. Semi-sweet but not too dry, this would be a great summer substitute for champagne.
I tasted this on its own with no food.
